The design and planning concept uses renovation and adaptive reuse of three adjacent buildings in Downtown Holyoke, MA on the site of a former Furniture Store to create a Medical Mall. The Holyoke Health Center is the anchor tenant in the 100,000 square foot complex which includes food services, primary medical care, medical specialties, dental services, preventive health services, health education, mental health services and social services. The master-planning, design and construction of this multi-phased project took place over a 7-year period while Rick was a partner at Steffian Bradley Architects.

The project received a Preservation Award from the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
